On Thursday 13th November, a boys team from Grange played in the ESFA qualifying tournament at Foundation Park. In a tight group of 4 with St. Francis, St. Mary's and Westrop, Grange topped the group with a record of won 1, lost 1 and drawn 1, but having scored more goals than the other 2 teams with the same record. In the semi-final Grange defeated Goddard Park to setup a rematch with St. Mary's in the final. A 1-1 draw at the end of normal time led straight into penalties. A marathon 24 penalties were taken before St. Mary's edged Grange 11-10. Well done to all the team for their hard work and sportsmanship to reach the final.
