During Black History Month, we have explored the life of Katherine Johnson, a female black mathematician who calculated the maths to send astronauts into space as part of NASA. The children have created biographs across the junior school, explaining how important her work was and the legacy she created. Within Music, we have performed Do Do Ki Do, an African Mask song using African drums and our voices. We have enjoyed learning how the song is used as part of processions and performing our versions within our year groups.
