We were proud to see our Year 5 and 6 pupils take part in the first ever Primary Big Business Day, alongside students from Millbrook Primary and Tregoze Primary.
The children worked together to develop real business ideas, create business plans and pitch their concepts. Throughout the day, they showed incredible creativity, confidence and teamwork.
All six teams presented excellent, well thought through business plans, demonstrating real enterprise thinking and presentation skills. We were incredibly impressed by the enthusiasm and effort shown by all the young people involved.
Congratulations to this year's winners: Gold: Tregoze Primary for their innovative glasses case that cleans your glasses while solving a real everyday problem. Silver: Millbrook Primary for Guiding Hands, a tutoring company for ages 5-11 designed to support younger learners.
A huge thank you to: Just For Fun Holiday Club for sponsoring the event, and Sean and Poppy for joining the judging panel. The organisers and all participating schools for making the day such a success.
The positive feedback from the children highlights why opportunities like this are so valuable, giving primary pupils the chance to think like entrepreneurs, develop new skills and discover what's possible.
Well done to all of our Grange Junior participants. We are incredibly proud of you!
