Year 3 took part in the Road to RIAT STEM Challenge: Glider Challenge.
The children worked brilliantly in teams to design and build their own gliders using straws and card. They then tested how far their gliders could fly and measured the speed of each flight. It was fantastic to see their creativity, problem-solving skills and teamwork in action.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and were excited to see how small design changes could make a big difference to their glider’s performance.
