In acknowledgement of 80 years since VE day, children were invited to come to school in red, white and blue clothes. Children learnt a range of war time songs, including 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' and 'We'll Meet Again.' Children received letters from World War Two veterans and wrote their own replies. Children in Year 6 were amazed to see their veteran on the daily Newsround report.
