At Grange Junior School, we believe it is important for our children to have an understanding and awareness of their rights and responsibilities as members of our school and our wider community of Stratton and Swindon. In order to give pupils a voice on some of the important decisions made in school, two children from each class are elected by their peers to become representative on our school council.
Members of our school council are expected to show the highest standard of behaviour and attitude in and out of school, in order to act as role models to other children. They wear their purple badges with pride and are happy to discuss their role with different adults and other children in the school. Acting on behalf of their class, they meet with Miss Reynolds fortnightly to voice the opinions of their peers and contribute comments and ideas to keep the school moving forward. We are proud to be representing our classes at Grange.
